A Quiet Weekend

Not too much going on around here at the moment. We got the TV stand put together and now the toilet in the big bathroom needs to be replaced. It's just got a small leak, nothing too serious but we've got to get it replaced sooner than later.

And Friday the handle on the kitchen faucet broke off. Thankfully there's a small part sticking out that we can use to turn the water on and off so it's still usable. We went to Home Depot yesterday and bought a new faucet. Now we just have to install it.

After church today we went out for lunch with Diana and Peter, then came back here to play UNO. Sharaya was at a birthday party and Ally was with her dad so they weren't able to join us.

Tomorrow we're back to work, and Beth is going to All Aboard for dance class, art, and playing games.

I hope you had a good weekend!

A quiet weekend can be the best tonic. Apart from the handle it sounds like yours was just what you needed!

Hi Cindy~ Well, when it rains it pours. At least you have the little part to turn the water off and on, and the toilet still works...that's a plus! UNO sounds so fun, I haven't played it in years. We all need a few more quiet week-ends...Enjoy your week! Hugs, Barb

Gosh! Seems like it is always something. Nice that Beth is going to be busy with friends!! I haven't played UNO is years! I am sure I still have the game in the game closet, though. Have a blessed week!! xo

Quiet weekends are much needed at times. Glad you had a good one. Good luck with the repairs!

Sounds like a lot of little issues that can be aggravating to fix. Glad you got a "handle" on it. PUN intended. LOL. I love playing UNO with a good group of people. Haven't done that in a long time. Hubby and I played Dominoes when the power was off during the hurricane last week. That was fun too. Kept us entertained for a while since we couldn't watch TV or work on computers. Kind of nice to play a game together again. We need to do it more often. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week.
