Thankful For Peace Of Mind

Read more Thankful blogs over at Rebecca Jo's blog

There are so many things to be thankful for:

Blue skies and sunshine!
Ministry contacts
My husband!
Our home
Vacations
More daylight after work
A new haircut
Metro Buses
Love
Birthday parties
Shrinking waists
Bright flowers in the garden

I hope you're staying calm in the midst of all the fear and panic that's happening out there. There is One who can give peace that you can't understand. A peace you can't explain when all around you is chaotic and scary.

I pray that peace, His peace fill your hearts and minds during this difficult time in our nation and the world.

That's a great list of things to be thankful for! And yes, we definitely have to find peace in the One above because things are CRAZY down here on Earth. We have no cases of the virus confirmed in our area, but the ticker scrolls endlessly at the bottom of the TV screen with all the new things being cancelled or changed and there is no toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand soap, paper towels, or any kind of disinfecting cleaner to be had. I work in a nursing home and we have limited visiting hours and visitors must answer a questionnaire, employees must have their temperature taken daily. Some homes have already banned all visitors. I don't know how folks who don't know the Lord can find any peace in these times.

Hi Cindy~

Beautiful list of things to be thankful for! We truly are in the palm of His hand and that brings me comfort. We need to keep praying, stay calm, and remember who is really in charge...blessing to you and yours.

Hugs and Love,
Barb

Wonderful list of things to be thankful for. Yes, we must remain calm in the midst of this present storm, for the Master of the Sea in in command, and He will not let our boat sink. We need to come away from the noise and enjoy the beauty of each day surrounding us as often as possible. Fresh air and sunshine are a real plus at this time. Take care and may God bless you and keep you and yours safe and healthy.
