Last week was just amazing. I'm sitting here just staring at the screen because I don't know how to describe it. Our time of prayer and fasting was powerful and I'll be spending weeks digging deeper into everything I read and heard.
Plus I was so busy! It's amazing how much time there was because I wasn't on the computer all the time. It's scary how many hours I spend on this thing.
Spring is all over the place here in the great northwest!
Remember the nest in the wreath on our front porch?
The birds hatched and you can see their tiny beaks!
I had Beth clean out her fridge and we defrosted her freezer.
I'm in the middle of painting our den. It was Diana's room and she had painted it green with a black stripe. It looked really cool but I'm repainting it with white and yellow and it's been quite the job painting over the darker colors!

I was at work every day this last week preparing for Easter services. I helped the custodians clean and set up rooms, plus there were landscapers, window washers... this was my first Easter being in this position of Supervisor so there was a lot to do!
We all went out to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch today. I don't remember ever being there before and oh my word, it was SO good!
Then Sharaya and Allie came over and we played Mexican Train and Sharaya hid some eggs in the backyard for Allie to find.
Then Sharaya went grocery shopping while Allie and I played with her legos. We laughed so hard!
I missed you all and thought about you so much last week! I'm glad to be back and will spend the next few days getting caught up on your posts.
I hope you all had a wonderful week!

You have been busy! I like the new color you picked for that room. The last time we were on your side of the mountains I noticed the new Cheesecake Factory at the mall. Fun to have one there instead of having to go to Bellevue. Enjoy your new week!
Tis the season for busy busy busy!!!
Cheesecake factory is delicious, isnt it? The portions are HUGE though!!!!
Love Mexican Train!
Glad you are back, and that you had a blessed and happy Easter.
Hugs!
I love spring and your flowers are so beautiful. Good for you for tackling a painting project, I'm impressed because I'm not one to do the painting I can appreciate those who do! The room is going to look so new and fresh! How fun to watch the babies in the nest. Like you actually got to see the eggs and the little hatchlings. Now that's a true sign of spring! We missed our Easter service but was fortunate to attend our Stake Easter musical the Sunday before Easter. I was so glad for that because I knew we were going to be gone. I need to take on cleaning our garage freezer, it really needs defrosting. Maybe Beth would like to do that for me haha I could use a good helper! I've only been to the Cheesecake factory once and like you, I loved it!
Have a wonderful week!!

I love my computer but since I started blogging 10 years ago I have found that I have wasted way too much time here. I find it hard to back away. There is so much more to life yet I love reading everyone's post. A blogger friend of mine stopped blogging several years ago. She just puts things on Facebook. I wanted my blogging to be a place where family members can go years from now and get to know me a little better. Anyway she said to me one day "You are spending your time reading about other people's lives and not living your own!"
The flowers are lovely and you paint job is looking great. I love eating at the cheesecake factory. Glad you had a fun time playing with the Lego's!
