Oh how I'm glad that life expectancy has changed! I met a woman at the dentist last week who fell in love with Justin and told me that her cousin just turned 63... She has Down syndrome and battled breast cancer! Amazing!
Crazy huh. But truth be told, the first words to my mom after getting the call about adopting Max, were "but 'they' don't live very long". I couldn't bear the thought of losing a child. Oh silly me!
