"My Man"

There have been more developments at work and unfortunately it looks like there will be a legal battle. Well, not really a 'battle', we have everything documented, there are numerous witnesses to the behavior... But I guess it's not quite over yet.

I came into work on Monday to find these on my desk:

A co-worker bought them for me after the stressful week I had last week. I love the colors and they smell so good! I am blessed to work in such a great place!

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whenever Beth talks about Nick, she refers to him as "My Man."
"Beth I think you just got a text."
"Yeah, it's my man."
"Beth why are you getting 2 drinks?"
"One is for my man."
So when she saw this card at the store, she just had to get it!
They went to the movies on Saturday and saw Spies in Disguise. She really liked it. Then they went out to eat with his parents. One of their favorite places is La Hacienda and Beth always brings home leftovers. This time was no different! After they brought her home she told us that she gave Nick the card and the chocolates when they were in the car.
"He loved them." 💕
 Do you have special plans for Valentines Day?
Oh wow, I went back and read about last week. You really had a rough time of it. I am praying everything works out okay and you can put it behind you soon. So sweet about Beth and "her man." No special plans here. I have to work late on Valentines' day, but we don't usually do more than exchange cards and go out to dinner after 35 years of marriage anyway.
Hi Cindy~
I'm so sorry about the ongoing problems at work! You will be in my prayers. The flowers are beautiful, sounds like you work with some amazing people!
Beth is so cute, I love that she calls Nick, my man, that's adorable! I haven't thought too much about Valentines Day. Last year Bob took me out to a fun restaurant, but I think I'd like to stay home this year. I think a nice dinner, a yummy dessert and a movie sounds like fun.
Have a great, rest of your week!
Hugs and Love,
Barb
LOL - that's so cute - the My Man.... we all have nicknames for our loves, right?
Love the flowers... I'm a sucker for orange or bright colored flowers. What a pick me up.
Praying for you as you go through this situation at work. So glad someone thought to give you flowers. You certainly deserve them. Love that Beth enjoys a special friend and calls him "My Man". That is sweet. Love the card. I will keep you in my prayers.
Hope all goes well with the troubles at work. Fun that Beth found that card. Valentine's Day we might be babysitting our grands while our kids go to a fancy couples meal at church. Time will tell.
What gorgeous flowers! Such a delightful and thoughtful gift from your co-worker.
Wow, the situation at work sounds horrible. I don't do conflict of any kind, so I would be a basket case.
Beth and Nick sound so cute. I love it..."my man."
Valentine's Day is relatively ignored in our family. It is sandwiched between Gabrielle's birthday (13th) and our anniversary (15th). I always tell people never to get married in February, or else they will lose a holiday! If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten married the September before.
Blessings,
Patti
