Chuck had weight loss surgery last week. What an ordeal that was! The surgery went well but it took him a while to come out of the anesthesia. Not that he slept a long time but when they called me back he was dressed and walking his laps around the nurses station but he was still really groggy. I stayed longer than I planned to and when I left he was still out of it. But by the time I picked him up the next morning he was doing much better
This was in 2001 This was last week
Allie spent the night last weekend. Did I remember to take any pictures? Of course not. We played bingo and battleship... I love hanging out with her.
My sister has been trying to figure out all of my dads paperwork, his accounts and insurance policies. I called her today and she's so overwhelmed. She didn't sleep well last night and was up early this morning so she could get to the bank right when they opened... We prayed over the phone and she'll go to the bank again tomorrow when it's not a holiday.
As I write this Chuck and I are watching the Seahawks game and he yells, "Why didn't their guy get called for that?!" And from down the hallway we hear Beth say, "I dunno." She's such a goof!

Wow!!! What a transformation he looks so much more healthy and I'm sure he feels it too! We watched that game and we were on the edge of our seats the whole time. Like another overtime game, Ahhhh but our kicker came through and YAY for the Seahawks!
Beth is so funny She must be such a joy to have around!
Look at the changes already!!! Keep it up Chuck!!! ... glad the surgery is over & cant wait to see how he adapts to it & the results that come with it.
I cant imagine all the paper work that it takes to finalize things when someone passes. Prayers for your sister & the family in getting everything settled
Going through paperwork when a loved one passes can be a nightmare. I'll be praying it can be all sorted out.
Hope all goes well with the surgery. Ugh about the paperwork. Hope it all gets sorted well and that your sister will be able to rest. Yikes that game was something else on Monday night. What a roller coaster.
First of all he has done an amazing job all on his own. Some people take longer coming out of anesthesia. I wish him success in his weight loss. I'm sorry about your sister having to go through your dad's things. I know I will face the same thing someday with my dad and sister living in Florida and me here in California. ((Hugs))
