Let's talk about something fun and lighthearted for a change, shall we?
Sometimes when I'm in the kitchen waiting for my tea water or fixing dinner I go over and look at all the magnets on our fridge. Yep, we're one of those families whose refrigerator is packed with magnets!
I love to collect magnets when we travel and we love to travel! At last count we've been on at least 40 road trips and our refrigerator is a time machine of all the places we've visited over the years.
For a long time I just bought the usual rectangle magnets with a cute or pretty picture of where we'd been.
Then as the girls got older we got a little more creative.
But when the girls started traveling on their own, oh my goodness the amazing magnets they would bring home!
Sometimes it's fun to just look at them all and remember the amazing adventures we've had over the years!
So what is your refrigerator like, filled with memories? Clear and bright? I know stainless steel is becoming popular nowadays but I don't think I could give up my magnets!

SO FUN!!! I wish my fridge was cute with memories - mine is just full on the sides of random notes & some pictures & a lot of coupons. Ricky made me keep the front of it clean since its stainless steel & has to be washed 100 times a day to get finger prints wipes off. The struggle is real!!!
I'm in love with your magnets. When we moved 12 years ago my new fridge won't hold magnets. I have whole box full. I am able to put a few on my built in oven and a few by the microwave. I love collecting them.
Your magnets are so cute! I have a sorts of magnets on my fridge and pictures too. I agree that though stainless steel is in, I would never give up my magnets to get a stainless steel fridge.
Thankful that at least the sides of the refrigerator can hold magnets. Most of my magnets are holding photos of loved ones in place. You have a great collection of magnets!
Hi Cindy!!
I've missed you! I do have some magnets, but mostly, I have wedding invitations, pictures my grands draw for me and a calendar...so I don't forget what I should be doing! I love all of your magnets!! I actually remember some of the things that the magnets reminded you of, like the Lion King. I remember when you and Beth went and saw the play! I like my old fridge as well...stainless might be in, but I like the old!
Hugs and Love,
Barb
Love your magnets...they each tell a wonderful story. Right now my magnets are still packed in a box. We just recently moved, and I haven't brought out all the refrigerator magnets yet. Mine aren't as interesting as yours, but they do tell a story and many hold pictures of loved ones. I guess I need to get them out...thank you for reminding me. Loved this story.
Love all the magnets! Mine used to have a lot more to but when we got a stainless steel fridge we couldn't use the magnets on the front anymore so now I have a few on the side along with displaying some pictures. :-) Hope you are doing ok, I saw your other post about your dad and I'm so sorry. I lost my mom suddenly in 2017 and I miss her every day..... My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
Blessings,
Jill
I used to have that very same flip-flop magnet from Sydney on my refrigerator. Our daughter brought it back when she went with People to People. Our latest frig is stainless and nothing sticks. :( I sent the magnets to the kid who most valued them or who brought them home.
