Saturday Snippets

How is everyone doing?
Staying at home?
Staying healthy?

We're doing well here. Staying in except to go grocery shopping.
Beth sent me this text and photo the other night:

i am out of food in my fridge already so I need more for in my fridge

I had planned to go shopping by myself but how could I after that plea for help! So we both went to the store, stocked up and now her fridge is filled again. Am I the only one buying things I've never tried before? There are so many things in our cupboard right now that we don't normally buy!

We're still going on our walks. We've been getting at least a little bit of sunshine every day.

Look at all those cars in the driveway!
People in this neighborhood really are staying home!

We cleaned out all of our games and I came across Password. This was my moms and it still has the score sheets from about 50 years ago! I was too young when they would play this but I remember watching them. I forgot I kept it!

The PET scan went well. They told us we'd be there about 4 hours but turned out it was only about 2 1/2. When they called Chuck back Sharaya and I found a bistro there in the hospital and we sat and talked almost the whole time. I was so glad she was there! No results yet. We've been getting so many texts and phone calls from friends and family, they've truly humbled us and made us feel so loved.

I pray you're all doing well and are finding moments of joy in this unprecedented time we're living in.

Glad things went well at the scan! Wow I do remember the Password game. Glad Beth got her fridge re-stocked!

Oh, that fridge photo! How could you not run to the store to remedy that?

We used to have Password too. Fun game. I also liked watching it on television.

Blessings to you!

Cindy I'm praying for Chuck that all is clear. I know what you mean about trying new foods. About a month ago we bought chickpea pasta because that's all they had. I made it with spaghetti and meatballs. It wasn't thst great but I was happy we had it. God is good!

I know what you mean about all the cars in the driveways. That has hit me too, on my walks.

I'm glad you could get the food you need. I think we're all being a little more creative in cooking than we ever used to be. And that's a good thing!

I remember Password from when it was on TV. I think we also had the game when I was a child. Looks like you've had some beautiful places to walk. That is so important for our mental health these days. I thrive on fresh air and beauty around me. If they take that away too it would be most distressing. Praying for your husband, and for the scan to give some clear answers. Praying all will go well for him and for all of you. God is in control, so rest in Him. God bless you all with peace.

Hi Cindy~

I'm a little late commenting, but I hope and pray that you and Chuck are hanging in there! Still keeping you in my prayers. Daughters really are angels sent to us from a loving Father. I don't know what I would do without mine, I'm so glad Sharaya was there for you.

All the photos I've been seeing of beautiful blossoming trees sure do make me smile! And I love seeing cars...in the driveway, happy day!

That cute, Beth! Empty refrigerators aren't fun! And yes, we have been eating some really strange (for us) things, and some of them are pretty good! Do you think this will change the way we do things...I think it will, at least is will change for me.

What a find! I loved, Password, the game and the show, how priceless is that little tender mercy?!

We are all fine here in Idaho. We are sheltering in place, trying to keep busy and praying that this will pass quickly!

Stay safe!

Hugs and Love,
Barb
