Mishmosh

The week is over and things are finally calming down a little at work. Whew!

I visited a friend a few weeks ago and got to see all the models he's been making during covid. He just turned 90! He started out with the paper models and now he's doing wood. I was very impressed.

Beth had another dentist appointment. This time though it was just the dentist and his office is right by our house. They put on a temporary crown, we'll go back next week for the permanent one. Look at all those tools!

Ally came over the other night. I went outside to water and told her it was time to put down her phone and come outside. She brought out the sidewalk chalk and after a few minutes remembered her bike was in our garage! The house behind us is empty right now so she was able to ride all the way back to their garage.

Then last night Sharaya had an appointment so we took Ally with us to buy a suit for Chuck for the wedding. Only 2 months away! We  were  thankful she had her phone. It would have been awful boring if she didn't!

Chuck found a suit and some shoes. I'm so glad that's done. Then Ally and I went into Claire's and she bought some earrings and I found a full-sized Uno card game! The one we have is travel size and the cards are so small! We stopped at Starbucks then came back here to break-in the cards.

Well, it's been unusually dry here so I should go out and water the plants. I hope you have a wonderful week!

Have you ever played Uno?

What's the weather like where you live?

Wow, those models that man makes! Amazing!! Glad things are coming together for what is needed for the upcoming wedding!! I like the game Uno :) We have a deck of cards for it, but haven't played it probably in about a year. Our weather has actually been pleasant for July, lol. Lol 100s compared to over 110 but we are getting a bit more humidity than normal. Waiting for some more monsoons to kick in.

I am amazed at those models! And you say he is 90 years old? That is outstanding!! Wonderful abilities to keep up with such delicate work. Love that Ally enjoyed riding her bike and doing some fun outdoor things, and then also that you got to play UNO together! Yes, we have played many many games of UNO over the years...some happy memories with family and crazy games. And great that Chuck found the shoes and a suit for the wedding. That's a big deal! I know you all are having a lot of hot dry weather this summer. I hope it changes soon. It has been hot and dry here, but we finally got some much needed rain yesterday, and I think more is on the way, so I am happy I don't have to keep watering! Have a blessed rest of your week.

We had a lot of rain at home but up in the north, at least now -- it is kind of perfect. Sunny, high 70s or 80s, little humidity. Those paper models knocked my socks off. They're fabulous!

Those models!!!! Amazing.
The wedding will be here before you know it!
Our weather is hot, but not nearly as hot as some.
We are also having some strong storms.
I had a crown put in. What a process!
Have a cozy day, my friend.

That's incredible, the art your friend is making! Such amazing talent! And the phone struggle is a very real one, for sure! Looks like things are getting exciting as the wedding approaches! Glad that the appointment for Beth's teeth went well. It is hot here, we did get a bit of rain this morning, but sure need more! Have a blessed and wonderful week :)

I haven't played UNO in years and years but remember that it was fun. Those models are pretty amazing, especially when the creator is 90 years old! Wow! Beth seems to take all the dental appointments in stride! Good for her!

Hi Cindy~Your friend is amazing! Those models are really something! I'm not even good at putting together jig saw puzzles, let along something that beautiful!

We love to play UNO, It's a fun, quick game and really fun for every age, and one of families favorites. I know how much your family likes to get together to play games, so it will be a fun one for you guys!
