Trying Hard to be Thankful - Thursday

I'm linking up again with Rebecca Jo. Check out her blog!

Beth's eye appointment didn't go as hoped but the good news is she won't be having surgery!

Work is getting extremely busy very fast but so far I've still got a good attitude about everything! 😁

The fireplace is going to cost $4000 more than we first thought but it will be installed in 2 weeks and I can't wait!

Chuck and I are working a lot of overtime lately but it will help pay for the fireplace!

I'm so done with doing yard work this year and thankfully Fall is right around the corner! Woohoo!

I hope you find a lot to be thankful for this week even if you have to really look for it!

Yes, some weeks are harder than others to find the things to be thankful for, but when we stop and look around us and consider what others may be going through, it helps us to count our blessings. Even with all of our frustrations and disappointments, we are still so much better off than the rest of the world. That is what I tell myself when I am tempted to grumble. But sometimes we just have to grumble and get it out of our systems! Oh, I know you will love your fireplace once it is done. Is it a wood burning one or gas? You must post pictures when it is ready, especially when it is burning!! Love fireplaces!! Enjoy!!

It can be hard sometimes, but I'm so glad you did it. I almost didn't post a Thankful Thursday, but finally did. Life can be tough sometimes, but God is always good! I know you know that, I'm really just more reminding myself. :)

Have a great weekend.

Oh no... hope it all works out with Beth's eyes.
It seems like there's so much that can be overwhelming - with our time & finances & LIFE ... love you can find some silver linings in it all

No surgery is a plus. Yes, we find many things for which to be thankful -- even when it's tough.

It is nice that yard work ceases in the fall and winter except for clearing out the planters. Glad Beth does not have to have surgery. Sounds like God is providing for that fireplace fix. Have a great labor day weekend.
