Thankfulness In These Times of Uncertainty

I've been at home since March 10 and am forgetting what day it is! I don't know if you saw the meme going around on Facebook that said, "I don't know who this is for but today is Wednesday.' That was for me!! But Rebecca Jo over at Knit By God's Hand always reminds me with her Thankful Thursday posts. Go on over to her blog to read more good news!

This week I am thankful for:

Sleeping in
Sunshine
Evening walks
Being able to truly relax
Prayer
My first Zoom meeting!
Getting the yard work done
Being stocked up on groceries
Two friends with Covid-19 are recovering
Playing board games
Long talks with my husband
Peace that passes all understanding

What are you thankful for this week?

I am grateful my cousin is home from the hospital and a very challenging surgery. And for all the medical people, grocery clerks and others who are working so hard during this virus.

That is me, too! I have to look at the calendar every morning to remind myself what day it is. I'm glad you are doing well. You are the first person I've seen who actually knows anyone who has or had the virus. Thank God, your friends are recovering! We haven't been cooped up quite long enough for me to convince my husband to play games yet, but I think we're getting close. At least I hope we are. I'm going to lose my mind if I have to watch much more of his true crime and gangster shows and movies. Stay safe and healthy!

You had 2 friends that had it??? Oh wow - glad they re recovering!
Honestly - every day I have to look because I'm not sure what the day is - I told my coworkers to message me on Saturday to make sure I'm not at my computer :) LOL

You have a lot to be grateful for, especially that your two friends are recovering from COVID-19.
I'm grateful for:
Better stock of food at Wal-Mart
The little bit of snow that fell
My daughter was able to figure out my sewing machine issues
The blessing of toilet paper from a friend
The ability to chat with friends and family via texts and phone calls though we can't meet together
That we can watch our pastor through live streaming and in some churches members can listen via phone.
My family staying healthy

WE also have a friend recovering from the virus, after being in ICU. She is a young woman with underlying issues, (Lyme Disease), so her case was serious, but thankfully she went home yesterday to continue recuperating. God answered many prayers on her behalf. So very thankful for that. Thankful for sunshine too, but we need some rain. Thankful you are enjoying some time together with your hubby and family. Rest and recuperate after stressful times you had recently. God is good to give you this time. He knows what we need and when we need it!
