Magnets

I would love to have one of these on my car. Wouldn't it be exciting to get out of your car at the mall, be walking passed all the other cars and spot one of these? I would be searching the mall for that familiar, beautiful face.

Our family members could purchase one. Siblings. Cousins. Grandparents.

I'd like to imagine there would be a lot of them. We'd spot them on the freeway, stopped at a red light, parking at the grocery store.

Does anyone have one or know where we could purchase one? I think this would go a long way in bringing awareness, all year long.

Ha! We had a bunch produced a nmber of years ago with our local logo and reading "Dare to Dream." What I like about it is the cut out part (where the ribboncurves around) is shaped like a heart! Someone saw it on my car and wanted to buy one. Unfortunately there were none left. I can send you a photo of it on my car!

When I worked on a political campaign we'd make our own. You can find the magnets in sheets at your favorite craft store, either at the craft store or an office depot you can usually find sticker sheets or print it out on regular paper and put clear contact paper over it to protect from the elements. It's a little time consuming but worth it if you can't find them online anywhwere.

I have a bumper sticker that says, "I love someone with Down syndrome." (Actually, my son now has that car, and he does love someone with Down syndrome.)
Here's a link to buying the magnet:

(hope the link works...I just googled Down syndrome car magnet--there are lots of other styles from other websites as well)
