Half a Century
When did this happen? When did I go from a 2 1/2 year old riding my bike up and down the street, to a 50 year old woman? When I say those words, I have an image in my mind of what a 50 year old woman looks like, acts like, and has accomplished in life. And that image certainly isn't me! I am happy though. Happy with who I am and happy with who God is creating me to be.
I always thought I'd have it all together by now.
Nope. Not even close. :)

Being happy is the BEST thing. :-) I know I'm not going to be okay with 50, either. Heck, I'm not even okay with the 43 that's coming up next month. I wasn't even okay with Samantha's 5. LOL Happy birthday to you - you've accomplished great things, not the least of which is your beautiful family!!
I feel like I can echo Becca - I feel like I'm not going to be ok with 38 - how did I get there already!? You have a beautiful family! Happy 5-0 to you and many more wonderful birthdays!
happy happy birthday! birthdays are strange - aren't they? celebrating another year of life, but at the same time wanting to hold onto time and not let it slip by so quickly! hope you had a great birthday and that this is your best year yet :)
