Valentine's Day

Hello! I'm stopping in for a few minutes to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you know how loved you are.

Beth and I got haircuts yesterday. Same style, just trimmed. Then went out for frozen yogurt.

This morning we went shopping for new dressers. The top drawer of our dresser is broken, which impacts the second drawer as well. And Beth has had her dresser for many years. In fact, she and Diana had it when they shared a room while they were growing up. Definitely time for a new one. We've been looking for a year or so but haven't found any that we really loved. Same as today. There were a few we liked okay, but none that we really wanted. So the search continues.

Then the three of us went to The Olive Garden for lunch. We hoped it would be less busy than tonight and we were right. Got seated right away. Had a delicious lunch - those bread sticks! - and brought home leftovers.

Now we're back home just hanging out, watching the Olympics and relaxing. Hope you had a blessed day!

Happy Valentine's Day, my friend! You and Beth look lovely with your new hair cuts. And we are doing the same thing: relaxing and watching the Olympics!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. Cute haircuts and so much fun to do it together. I miss being able to take my dear mother-in-law with me to get our hair cut. Sorry about the dressers. I find that more often than not anymore. I never seem to find what I want anymore so I go home without. :-)
You can't beat Olive Garden for a great meal. My favorite is Chicken Alfredo with Chicken Gnocchi soup. Yum!
Our Party with our friends tonight was lots of fun. We laughed a lot together which is the best part.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

Sounds like you all had a great Valentine's Day!! Good luck on your dresser hunt, and do keep us posted! I am looking forward to the women's skating this week. The snowboarding has been fun to watch, and the men's skating. I'm ready for more figure skating. Have a blessed week ahead!!

I love the trims. And I’m all for frozen yogurt. I sent a card your way. I don’t know if you received it. I never know with how the mail is these days. Hugs. xx.

Happy Valentine's Day to you too. Thank you. You two look lovely. The yogurt sounds good too! Sorry you're not finding a dresser that you like. How nice to have lunch at The Olive Garden. Sweet photos.

Olive Garden is always a good choice. It feels good to get a fresh haircut. I hope you find what you are looking for!

We are enjoying our second Valentine's Day date tonight, on Monday. We never ever do anything special for VD but this year we had 2 activities planned. Who are we??

Your haircuts look very fresh and pretty. Ready for spring. Wonder if you could find a 'vintage' dresser that might suit better than something new from a store. Or maybe that's where you have been looking? We have very heavy bedroom furniture which was more in style when we married. Now everything is so light, and white and simple. Hoping heavy will come back in style someday.

Love OG - soup and salad is our favorite.
